Registration

• If purchasing a participant kit (and we highly recommend that), it must be ordered by Aug. 31.

• This will enable us to ship the kit to you in time for the seminar.

Participant kit

• Contents include participant workbook, cookbook, 8 Laws of Health DVD and online video, access to online videos for each session.

• Cost is $59 which includes shipping.

• Use Donation button at bottom of webpage and add "Diabetes kit" in the comment. 

• The donation page has instructions for adding comments

• Kit must be ordered by August 31 to allow shipping time.

• Be sure to enter your address at donation time, so that we will know where to ship your kit.

Announcements and ongoing updates

• Updates, announcements, and other communications will be provided on a free texting phone app called Whatsapp.

• It is the best way for us to do group communications.

• No account is needed - Whatsapp will simply use your phone number.

• Once you have Whatsapp installed, send a text message to John at +1 402-680-6217.  Then I will add you to the Whatsapp group that is set up for this seminar.

Install Zoom

• Zoom is an app you need to download and install on your phone, tablet, or computer.  It looks like a blue circle with ZOOM written in it.

• You do not need to create a Zoom account to attend the studies.

• On your phone, go to your app store.

• On a PC or table, go to zoom.us/download.

• When you install Zoom, it might ask you for access to video, audio, pictures, mic, and so on.  Be sure to allow access to all these things.

• Please do not give the meeting ID to ANYONE.  Members should only get it from me (John Phillips).  Otherwise, they will not know the correct steps to join the meeting.  If someone else wants to join, have them text me on Whatsapp or contact me at:

Join Zoom meeting

• Start the Zoom app.  You do NOT need to create a Zoom account to join a meeting.

• Click the blue Join a Meeting button.

• Enter the meeting ID number in the "Meeting ID" place/box.  Zoom will save the number for future use.  Click the down arrow on the right side of the Meeting ID place, and you can select the meeting ID the next time.

• IMPORTANT!! Under the "Join with a personal link name" place, delete the phone name (if using a phone) and enter your first and last name.  It is very important to enter your name, otherwise, I will not know who it is, and may not allow you to enter the meeting.  Without your name, I just see the model of the phone (like Samsung A10), and that does not help.

• On a PC, enter the meeting ID and your name.

• When you join the Zoom meeting, it will put you in a Waiting Room until I admit you to the meeting.  That is part of Zoom security.

• No other password is needed.

• When you connect after I have started Zoom, it will say:  Host has joined.  We've let them know you're here.

• You can try to join Zoom at any time to test it.  Please don't wait until session time - test it as soon as you can!

• If you are testing your Zoom connection before I start a Zoom meeting, it will say something like: Waiting for host to start meeting.  Then you know it is working.

• If we are having a session and you are trying to join the meeting, there is no need to message me - I will see within a few minutes that you are trying to join the meeting.

• Please do not give the meeting ID to anyone.  Thanks!

• REMEMBER:  You must enter your FIRST and LAST name to be admitted to the meeting!

Zoom Meeting ID

• The Zoom meeting ID will be sent to you individually by text or email.

Follow-on sessions, coaching, and discussion

• After the 8 week seminar concludes, we plan to continue the Thursday Zoom sessions for a time, based on interest.
